Laura Ingraham hosted Newt Gingrich.
Gingrich said if Obamacare is harmful to the country, why would any Republican fund it? He sees it as a constitutional issue. Ingraham said another course would be a full delay and then a repeal which would have the Democrats own the issue. Gingrich said politicians get too clever too often and that things should be changed decisively. He sees it as a dynamic process and that the GOP should go full bore on defunding.
Ingraham compared the situation to immigration and Gingrich said the House would follow the Goodlatte approach, breaking the steps down.
Gingrich said Chris Christie is a very strong governor of New Jersey, but the GOP needs a strong debate on foreign policy. He cited the disruption al-Qaeda has created in the Muslim world. He said he's a hawk and was for the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq, but that the execution was horrible. He said the establishment will get more hysterical as Rand Paul and Ted Cruz ask important questions.
