Laura Ingraham hosted Joni Ernst, Iowa GOP Senate candidate.
Ernst said she will fight President Obama's executive order amnesty efforts. She explained that Iowa is a purple state and the job of the candidate is to spell out successful policies. She pointed out that her opponent has been a firm supporter of Obama's policies. She said Iowans are deeply into politics as the "First in the Nation" status. She doesn't think that she is playing only a defensive game but is showcasing her record as she is barnstorming all the counties where she is getting great responses. She doesn't think we need to double the guest workers and asked why we don't build up the dignity of every job. Ingraham stated Americans should have the first shot at jobs over guest workers. Ernst said she will work on a replacement for Obamacare and working for a balanced budget amendment. She noted that Iowa has balanced its budget.
