Laura Ingraham kicked off a firestorm about the media's coverage of the Iraq war - and the MSM has hit back. She linked a piece from the USA Today in which it was noted that there is not enough positive coverage. It said that resources have not been allocated to the Iraq war of late as they were in the beginning and that the harder to get stories out in the field are overrun by the bombing stories.
Wouldn't it be great to see less coverage on, say, the latest celebrity scandal or rant? And where are the conservative stars - Rush Limbaugh (who did go to Afghanistan), Sean Hannity and Bill O'Reilly are three self-proclaimed tough guys who seem to be hiding under their desks on this one - and how meaningful it would be to have them go to meet the troops on the ground in Iraq - like some of the celebrities they disparage regularly. There are many more on the left and right in the media who could be visiting as Ingraham did - where are they and what's there excuse?
