States "Rights" Economic Policies Bring Rich Rewards
"States' Coffers Swelling Again after Struggling" from the NY Times
by John M. Broder, reports that despite hurricanes, energy costs and a country
at war, the economy's strength and tigher state budgets has allowed for state
coffers to increase. This will allow for projects such as roads, schools and
debt reduction to enhance states that struggled earlier.
This should be a positive bit of news for the GOP to start the 2006 campaign
year with - if they can somehow manage to do a better job of PR than they have
in 2005.
