Iraqi Red Crescent Celebrates US Thanksgiving With $1 Million Donation for
Katrina Relief
"Iraqi
Red Crescent Thanks US with $1 Million for Katrina Relief" from the
Washington Times, reports that the Iraqi Red Crescent, their equivalent to the
Red Cross, has donated $1 million for Katrina relief in gratitutde to the US
for its financial help to Iraq at the time of the US's Thanksgiving. The amount
is 20 percent of the Iraqi Red Crescent budget.
The donation was made with the approval of the office of the Prime Minister.
Many in the US have asked if the Iraqis are grateful for the US investment
in Iraq and on a percentage basis of its charity, it would seem they are.
Hope this makes the liberal press news big time!
