Laura Ingraham hosted Bill Kristol of the Weekly Standard.
Kristol conceded that most of the country would favor Senator Rand Paul's more restrained view on foreign interventions even as Kristol holds a more aggressive view. He said we have a jihadist group that is well funded in ISIS and that the US should bomb their installations so they realize the US is serious without putting troops in harm's way.
Kristol and Ingraham criticized Defense Secretary Hagel and General Dempsey's cautious and vague strategy statements that reflect President Obama's views. Ingraham stated Obama is uncomfortable in responding to the beheading death of James Foley and that he has to react as a citizen of the world rather than as our nationa's leader which she blames on his world view. Ingraham also cited the dangers of our open borders and recommended cracking down on open immigration and focus on law and order.
