Laura Ingraham guest host Raymond Arroyo spoke with Pat Buchanan.
Buchanan said the US has an incoherent strategy against ISIS with us at first supporting rebels in Syria and now are sending drones in to monitor and attack them. He pointed to the mess created by the Iraq war. He said that our best bets as allies against ISIS are our enemies Syria, Iran, Russia and that we would potentially work against former allies in the region. He advises working with Turkey and using NATO membership as a card.
Buchanan stated that Al Sharpton's rhetoric at Michael Brown's funeral was much more about Sharpton and less about the deceased. He feels the demilitarizing the cops would be dangerous. He related his connection to the prosecutor in this case of Officer Darren Wilson allegedly shooting of Michael Brown and thinks the community has already decided what the verdict should be. He thinks President Obama has played it down the middle on this case.
Buchanan said Mitt Romney should run in 2016 if he wants to, but that it will be a rough time. He said he's never seen an impending presidential race with no front runner.
