Laura Ingraham hosted Allan Lichtman.
Lichtman spoke of a systematic study of how much influence people have on politics and the results showed that the views of the ordinary citizen hold little sway unless they line up with those of the wealthy and powerful. Lichtman pointed to ways that ordinary people can fight back and said people need to organize, citing the civil rights movement where people are willing to put themselves on the line. Both Lichtman and Ingraham agreed that the divergence of wages among the wealthy and lower classes are the greatest since the Great Depression. Lichtman said the elites are experts manipulating the levers of power.
