Laura Ingraham hosted Governor Scott Walker of Wisconsin, author of Unintimidated.
Walker stated the unemployment rate in his state is 5.8% and attributed it to the state's emphasis on work versus dependence on the government. Ingraham challenged Walker on immigration and asked how the nation can have more people brought into the US when the US has so many workers underemployed with flatlining wages and national security threats. She pointed to Britain's UKIP party's strides. Walker favors sending back the unaccompanied minors who recently came to the US should be repatriated. He favors people getting more training to be more competitive. Ingraham noted that Wisconsin has a lower HIspanic population. Walker favors a tougher stance on border security and empowering businesses to hire more workers.
Walker said people want leadership more than anything else and getting the government out of the way so businesses can create more jobs. He thinks the GOP gap with women will dissipate with the variety of media influences and balancing social issues with economic in the platform.
