Laura Ingraham hosted Iraq & Afghanistan Navy Veteran Oklahoma Rep. Jim Bridenstine of the House Armed Services and Science Committee on the infux of unaccompanird minors housed at Fort Sill.
Bridenstine went to Fort Sill to speak on military matters and then said he was going to visit the HHS facilities where the ilegal immigrants are housed. Everything was fenced off and locked up tight. When he asked to speak to the manager of the site, he was told he couldn't visit the site until July 21st, even as he explained he's a member of Congress. He called the HHS communications liason who refused to connect him to the manager Ken Wolfe. He spoke of children who have been raped, are victims of trafficking and sick. Ingraham said Americans want to see action on this issue.
Bridenstine said he spent time in Central America and that there has been extreme poverty and crime down there forever. He said the end of the Republican Party will come if nothing is done on this crisis. He said back in January there were federal requests for transporting these immigrants into the country's interior.
