Laura Ingraham hosted Eliseo Medina of SEIU.
Medina said he's a legal immigrant to the US. He agreed that children should be placed in danger by crossing a desert, but went on to blame the US immigration system. Ingraham countered that the illegal alien children are being put in danger to facilitate their families' entrance into the US. Medina said there shouldn't be a situation where people have to walk through the desert to get to the US and Ingraham asked if he believes in borders for the US. Medina said the only way some people can come is illegally while Ingraham said the US has the right to determine who comes into the US, especially given the working poor American citizens who don't have good jobs. She added that their home countries should be taking care of their citizens. Medina said employers want to improve their businesses and some use illegal aliens to depress wages.
