Zmirak said there is very little in the Catholic catechnism about immigration and that there are far more important issues and catechesis. He said it's fashionable for many more conservative Catholics to appear balanced. He noted that immigrants have obligations such as obeying the law, respecting the culture and it is an act of mercy, not justice to take in illegal immigrants. Ingraham cited to toll it will take on the middle class who have seen their wages and jobs decline. Zmirak said people can see the benefits an immigrant can get by being in this country but not the harm caused to millions of taxpayers and citizens and says it's akin to being pro-choice as one can see the pregnant mother but not the baby hidden in the womb. Ingraham said the immigrants have responded to our government and leaders prompts to come here.
