Laura Ingraham hosted Rob Boston of Americans for the Separation of Church and State.
Boston said he wants to see a government that is neutral on religion and that there is a great deal of religious expression in our country. He said that in the Supreme Court case involving the town of Greece, New York, where the court decided 5-4 to allow prayer to open meetings in public functions.
Boston said there is subtle pressure on those who don't go along with such things as a prayer at a meeting and leave the room. He also pointed to the tax exempt status of religious groups and agreed with Ingraham that there is tension between groups over same sex marriage, abortion, etc..
Ingraham predicts the future will have society separated out with religious people not able to express themselves due to secular pressures.
