Laura Ingraham hosted John Yoo, author of Point of Attack.
Yoo agreed with Ingraham that there should be a select committee to investigate the Benghazi scandal as happened during the Bush administration with similar scandals.
Yoo said that he doesn't see the Citizens United case being overturned and that Congress would be limiting freedom of expression if the Constitution was amended to limit campaign spending and speech.
Ingraham and Yoo decried the "Uncle Tom" comment made about Justice Clarence Thomas by a black congressman Benny Thompson, noting that if Thomas was liberal rather than conservative, the congressman would have been censured.
Yoo said he understands Americans are distrustful of foreign entanglements as people were in the 1930s and that there is a cost to withdrawing from world affairs and it takes a Reagan or Roosevelt. He thinks the government will need a warrant to search cellpones as the Supreme Court's probable decision on that case.
