Laura Ingraham hosted Dr. John Dombrowski.
Dombrowski said the VA has plenty of money, but that it isn't goint to the medical needs of veterans. Ingraham commented on the onerous regulations and difficulty understanding foreign doctors. Dombrowski said the abuse needs to stop now as far as giving veterans substandard care and that they need different levels of care, especially with pain management. He said physician led care is needed and that there is a push to get lower level medical personnel without enough training.
Dombrowski recommended that the VA give bets vouchers for care and that the competition with the private sector would insure better care and end backlogs.
