Laura Ingraham hosted Justin Lee of the Gay Christian Network.
Lee said the Mozilla CEO being forced out due to his making a donation to an anti same sex marriage Prop 8 law. He said that both sides engage in this sort of censorship. Ingraham said she fears we are shutting down debate.
Lee said he grew up as a conservative Christian and changed his views as he realized he was gay and found out that just as gays were demonized, now those against same sex marriage are being demonized. He recommends dialogue to cool off the attacks, creating victims. He said he's heard people say that the government should get out of the marriage business and leave it to the churches. He wishes that religious and civil marriages need to be differentiated. Ingraham raised several slippery slope arguments such as various numbers of persons being in a marriage relationship. Lee said each situation needs to be considered by its merits.
