Laura Ingraham hosted Governor Mike Pence of Indiana.
Pence said education is a state and local function and that his state is the first to have dropped out of Common Core, instead having the state choose its own curriculum and learning materials which are better than Common Core. Ingraham said some say Indiana's formula is a Common Core remix. Pence says there were differences of opinions within the state but that the good part is that the dialogue and process is within the state.
On immigration, Pence said a nation without borders is no nation and that any immigration reform must be orderly and predicated on America's needs. Ingraham doubted that would be any time soon, given the crisis in the economy for the middle class.
