Laura Ingraham hosted Claire Shipman, co-author of The Confidence Code.
Shipman said that any people who are in a minority group, they underestimate their ability and this is true of women. She said ironically girls are academic superior and that if life was school, women would rule the world. The rules of the world are different where coloring outside the lines and different rules apply. She said their are brain differences affect confidence and that women have more neurons and ruminate about events more. Testosterone in men promotes risk taking, but Shipman said that women can rewire by learning to fail and not overthink situations. She added that women's skills ironically are in high demand today.
