Laura Ingraham hosted Arianna Huffington, author of Thrive.
Huffington said she wrote her book based on a collapse she experienced, even as having success and power. She recognized burnout is the journey of too many women and wanted to offer practical advice with three small changes after each chapter - for example, getting a half hour more sleep each night. She recommends putting all eectronic devices outside the bedroom.
Huffington spoke of a monk from the Greek abbot of a monastery at Rhodes in her chapter on wonder where she told of taking time to notice all the small things around one and listen to the rising and falling of one's breath. She rues that too many people sacrifice these moments due to climbing the success ladder. She mentioned in the giving chapter how her mother gave away everything and thus had no will as she gave away all she could.
