Laura Ingraham hosted Rep. Trey Gowdy.
Gowdy commented on the fallacy of the numbers on deportations, saying many of these are turn arounds or catches at the border. Ingraham agreed that we aren't deporting people and that illegal aliens know they won't be deported. Gowdy spoke of the Safe Act on the Judiciary Committee but that the Democrats are far better at using the personal sympathetic stories of illegal elements. Ingraham said there's a rush on the border, especially with minors and that Obama is cutting back any deportations. Gowdy spoke of Jason Chafetz efforts against benefit fraud by illegal aliens and Ingraham asked why the GOP doesn't respond. He said we need to be more aggressive about asking specific questions about incidents that fly in the face of sympathetic anecdores.
