Ingraham spoke about "tragedy TV" in which networks overdo and play to their bases. She pointed to MSNBC's glowing coverage of President Obama and how a lot of it hasn't come to pass. She sees nothing wrong with debating disagreements that are critical and that people appreciated unscripted , vibrant discussion. She admitted that politics is a small part of peope's lives, but that people also want to know there are anchors out for them and who hold the powerful accountable.
Ingraham feels CNN needs some tent pole talents iwth a point of view, as most people have an opinion. She also thinks beyond big personalities, but that they need to be informed. She spoke of how she loves radio as her fans are akin to a family. She said despite having three kids and being a single mom, she loves her busy life with radio and television commitments and is trying to get it right in both domains.
