Laura Ingraham hosted George Will, author of A Nice Littl Place on the North Side.
Will explained why he's a Chicago Cubs fan in what he deems our most interesting city with diverse characters even as they haven't won a World Series. Ingraham spoke of her own experience there. Will compared how baseball is a habit where football is a spectacle. He praised smaller intimate parks as were in the past. Ingraham stated Will's book is a history book as well as a sports book. Will said people have their ashes spread on Wrigley Field.
Will said baseball is dull only to the dull in response to people who denigrate the sport. He would love to stand in the batter's box when a fastball came across.
