Laura Ingraham hosted Alvin Townley and Louise Mulligan, Defiant, Vietnam's Alacatrz 11.
Mulligan's husband was shot down over Vietnam and waited quietly as to the government's instructions and then after a few years. She sat down with her 6 ooys, went public and canvassed the country. She didn't know if her husband was alive. She said Senator Kennedy and Jackie Kennedy were helpful in getting his name released and that he was alive. He was released seven years later. She said her husband's homecoming went amazingly well. She said noises bothered him and that driving was harder. She stated the military was helpful. She said seven of the eleven are still alive.
Townley said the title Defiant was chosen for this book as the POWs lived by their values and code and the wives did likewise. He said we need this attitude in our country today.
