Laura Ingraham hosted Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell of Kentucky.
McConnell said he voted against the Senate comprehensive immigration bill and totally agreed with Ingraham who has argued against such a bill and stated there won't be a law passed this year. He added that in most countries immigrants are not granted citizenship as is now being demanded by current illegal aliens. Ingraham added that business elites ignore the corrosive effects on jobs, wages and the rule of law on the middle and lower classes as it doesn't affect the elites. McConnell promised not to vote for a lame duck immigration bill.
Reacting to President Obama's interview with Bill O'Reilly, McConnell said Obama continued to pint fingers at others for DC gridlock rather than look at his own policies.
McConnell and Ingraham commented on the IRS being used to punish political enemies of the White House, noting even President Nixon felt this was going too far.
McConnell reacted to AG Eric Holder overriding states' rights in regard to same sex marriage and said the White House can't be trusted to enforce the nation's laws, using executive orders to sidestep our nation's laws.
McConnell said Senator Rand Paul is stating the obvious by saying the GOP must appeal to the majority of voters.
