Laura Ingraham hosted Richard Roper, Chicago Sun Times.
Roper said "Gravity", "American Hustle" and "Twelve Years A Slave" are favorites for the Oscars this year. He said usually the most popular movies don't win the Oscars as they are usually cartoons or super hero films. He expressed surprise that "Captain Phillips" star Tom Hanks didn't get nominated for his leading role. Both he and Ingraham discussed the troubling proliferation of violence.
Roper said "Nebraska" and Bruce Dern's performance are great, even as it's in black-and-white. He also thought "Enough Said" was a wonderful film that was about two middle aged people having an affair that was beautifully acted.
Roper opined that Alec Baldwin's worst enemy is Alec Baldwin and asked what he has to complain about.
Roper picked "Gravity" in an upset, Best Actor to Matthew McConaughey for "Dallas Buyers Club", Kate Blanchett for "Blue Jasine", Jared Leto for "Dallas Buyers Club" , lupito Nyong'o of "12 Years A Slave",
