Laura Ingraham hosted Jonathan Allen and Amie Parnes, authors of HRC.
Allen said their book has two full chapters on Benghazi and that the State Department felt Libya had the building blocks for a stable democracy, but ignored the dangers there. However, there is no evidence that Clinton saw the information and the question is whether she should have known. He said Clinton was at the State Department during the attacks at the Behgnazi outpost. Ingraham asked where Tom Donilan was during this terror attack as well as other principal national security players.
Parnes said Joe Biden and the Clintons are good friends. She said Biden is keeping his options open for 2016.
Parnes said Clinton pushed for Obamacare at cabinet meetings and that this will be fodder for the GOP in 2016.
Allen said both Clintons believe in a strong government role in society, but that they also believe in a strong private sector, but they will have to defend the Obama record. He feels she's much more moderate on economic matters and national security. He said it will be difficult for Clinton on such issues on drone strikes and other covert activity.
Parnes commented on the relationship of Hillary Clinton and Michelle Obama isn't particularly close.
