Laura Ingraham hosted FCC Commissioner Ajit Pai.
Pai said the FCC proposed going into newsrooms and asking intrusive questions that would interfere with First Amenment rights. He said the FCC used as a hook a requests to have others involved in the news business. Pai said that people of all political stripes should be outraged that the FCC would interfere with newsrooms' functioning.
Pai said there are innumerable sources of information and that for the FCC to dictate what should be covered is ludicrous.
Pai said that according to the Supreme Court decision, the FCC will put together decency guidelines for the public airwaves. He said there are 3 Democrats and 2 Republicans on the FCC. Ingraham and Pai agreed the FCC has power over not only the airwaves, but the Internet.
