Laura Ingraham hosted Representative Devin Nunes.
Nunes explained that California is always in a dought situation and that Governor Brown's father set up a system to make sure water gets to arid areas. He said the GOP represents the areas of the workers and that elite liberals' policies have shut off this infrastructure due to ridiculous environmental rules to protect an endangered species.
Nunes said he doesn't fall into the trap that the GOP is getting mired in with immigration and explained how Latino is a new term and that there is the notion that Hispanics will vote for Democrats which in his area where there are workers, Republicans get elected. Ingraham pointed out that he is winning elections without amnesty and that it is wrong for the party to make common cause with the Democrats and Obama. Nunes doesn't think immigration reform will take place during Obama's presidency and Ingraham resonded that the GOP should promote strong economic growth and rule of law, period. She added that it is hurting the middle class to bring in more workers to depress wages and jobs. She said workers should be paid more.
