Laura Ingraham hosted Senator John Cornyn.
Cornyn and Ingraham commented on Governor Chris Christie's issues with brdige closings that threaten his political fortunes. They added that Democrats aren't held accountable while they are jumping on Christie.
Cornyn said people are reluctant to embrace a comprehensive immigration bill as the Senate bill is full of hollow promises with inadequate border protection, threats to jobs and wages and taxpayers subsidizing benefits for political purposes. He favors an incremental approach.
Cornyn is concerned about President Obama having fast track trade authority as he is apt to take advantage of the situation. He said he doesn't know much about his primary challeners, but takes the primary seriously.
