Laura Ingraham hosted Don Lemon of CNN.
Lemon and Ingraham analyzed the State of the Union speech amidst his great unpopularity and his threat to use executive orders to get his way. Ingraham mentioned President Obama's penchant for pointing fingers at unfriendly news sources and Lemon agreed, saying Obama should be above it all. Ingraham added one has to deal with the chess board is dealt and the players on the board. Lemon said opponents are incentivized when critized to keep it up.
Lemon said he doesn't toe the typical black line, even as he is African-American. He said he wouldn't have his children watch the Grammy Wards which was on during prime time. Ingraham noted that the awards have devolved into politics instead of music. Lemon said that the people who are out should have been used differently than as props in a marriage on stage.
Lemon said people have criticized CNN for their instant Bieber special and feels that people like a little lighter fare after work and that CNN basically does hard news most of the time.
