Laura Ingraham hosted Rep. James Sensenbrenner.
Sensenbrenner agreed with Ingraham that the NSA isn't to be trusted as its role has been expanded without oversight from the FISA court and the two Congressional intelligence committee. He said this all has gone beyong the rules and intent of the Patriot Act. Now cellphone data is being collected on citizens, allegedly. Both Ingraham and Sensenbrenner noted how security personnel such as James Clapper parse words or outright lie.
Sensenbrenner said the Sensenbrenner-Leahy bill should be passed to protect citizens privacy and civil rights.
