Tanner said the budgeting procss is back to normal with more spending and taxes with the taxpayers holding the bag. He decried the sequester being eliminated. He pointed to the new fees on flying as an example. He said the Democrats are in bad shape due to Obamacare and if they go back to a shutdown, it would take the focus off Obamacare. He said the GOP is divided on the cuts as the neocons object to Pentagon cuts and others who disagree.
Tanner said that most people have signed up for Medicaid on the Obamacare site which will push up state and fedearl taxes which is one of the big three programs that are expanding federal and state spending.
Tanner noted the number of people losing their doctors on the exchange but said the GOP has limited options to change the situation. Arroyo said that the sequester is merely reining in spending increases.
