Scalise expressed displeasure over HHS Secretary Sebelius' response to his queries about Obama's false promise that no one would lose their health care and her claims that she couldn't legally sign up for ObamaCare. He deemed it elitist liberalism attitudes toward the people they are serving as legislators have vast latitude as to whether they and their staffs have to sign up for ObamaCare exchanges. He thinks President Obama should at least suspend the fines for not signing up as the website is inoperative at many levels.
Scalise has 100 legislators who have signed on to an alternative Health Care Reform Act which has no mandates, taxes or the IRS involved and is based on market principles. There has been great feedback and state medical societies whom have reacted powerfully.
Scalise reacted to Rep. Darrell Issa's subpoena of HHS Secretary Sebelius over the website issues by stating that Obama could back up his claim that he has the most transparent administration on record.
