Laura Ingraham hosted Rep. Michael McCaul of Texas and chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee.
McCaul said the Benghazi attacks are not of interest to the White House and thus is the reason the individuals who commited the atrociites are not on the most wanted list. He's skeptical that justice will be served. He also wonders why this hasn't been dubbed an act of terroism as there was evidence of al-Qaeda involvement.
McCaul said the House shouldn't go to conference with the Senate on the comprehensive immigration bill and did not accept an invitation to the White House to discuss the bill. He is devoted the past decade to getting the borders secured and keeping the homeland safe. He cited several House members who are going along with the bill and noted they represent Hispanic districts. Ingraham stated that the current laws have been flouted with impunity, bringing all sorts of criminal elements into the US. McCaul feels that we are very vulnerable to terrorists exploiting our open borders.
McCaul thinks that at this point to disband the Department of Homeland Security would create even more problems than currently exist with this unwieldy bureaucracy.
