Laura Ingraham hosted Sergeant Kevin Briggs, "Guardian of the Golden Gate".
Briggs was in the military, had cancer, heart disease and was in a motorcycle crash.
Briggs started in 1994 at the Golden Gate Bridge and began studying on his own as to how to help suicidal people who try to leap off hte bridge. He tries to put all his focus into them, looking them into their eyes, stating there is help. He was raised as Catholic and says anyone could end up in bad circumstances. He's only lost one person when he was the primary officer. He said alcohol can be a cause of these incidents. He said it takes a concious effort to leap from the bridge and need help.
