Laura Ingraham hosted Bill O'Reilly of Fox News on his new book Killing Jesus.
O'Reilly said the book isn't religious, but historical, but that people will try to portray it as otherwise. It is Christian doctrine to be inspired by the Holy Spirit and he was inspired to write this book.
O'Reilly said Jesus comments on the cross would have been limited due to his physical injuries and that the comments he did make must have been very limited. He believes the timeline of when he said things may have been off.
Ingraham said the reader is taken right to the scene of the crucifixion. O'Reilly said the Romans kept very exacting records on the executions and said that Jesus actually died at 36 rather than 33 based on historical records.
O'Reilly said his book will introduce people to Jesus, the man and that we should know about him due to his influence in the world as the most important person who ever lived. His book has sold 400,000 copies and is set to be a worldwide record breaker. He gives credit for all his success to God and that this is an essential part of his Christian faith.
