Laura Ingraham hosted Pat Buchanan.
Buchanan compared the commemoration of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s "I have a dream" speech as history repeating itself as a farce. He spoke of the highlight of King's speech as compared to the chaos that ensued. He spoke of the progress for African Americans and castigated the racial grievance industry whom he said wouldn't have a purpose without this.
Buchanan and Ingraham compared the press coverage given to Trayvon Martin to that of Christopher Lane and said there is far less attention paid to black on white crime which is proportionately much higher. They also critcized the outcry over voter ID when ID is required in so many parts of society. Buchanan said it's a refusal to look in the mirror.
Ingraham criticized Colin Powell's remarks on the Trayvon Martin case, saying that the prosecution had no case and his speaking of the dark underside of the Republican Party.
