Laura Ingraham hosted Chuck Todd of NBC News.
Todd said Der Spiegel got records from Edward Snowden and that the NSA doesn't know what files he took. He cleverly has given information to Germany as it's in the middle of an election and that Germans are sensitive about this issue. He defended NBC's coverage of this story and said it's the most important story as it is hurting President Obama's credibility among supporters.
Todd said it's frustrating that President Obama hasn't had an interview with a major network correspondent and that this White House is extremely controlling and doesn't even allow cabinet members or senior staff. Ingraham said they don't care and that they insulate themselves from hard questions.
Todd agreed that President Obama's response to the Chris Lane murder was too slow, given that Australia is a close US ally. Ingraham pointed to the racist tweets from the alleged perpetrators and asked why Obama didn't speak about this as he did in the Trayvon Martin case.
