Laura Ingraham hosted Senator Ted Cruz of Texas.
Cruz said he appreciates the lessons in civility from Senator McCain and feels the Senate should be standing for freedom and the Constitution. He thought the filibuster initiated by Senator Rand Paul mushroomed into something extraordinary. He was disappointed that more Democrats didn't participate.
Cruz said Jeb Bush was a conservative, creative governor of Florida and while he agrees with some aspects of immigration reform, but not a path to citizenship as it isn't fair to legal immigrants. He thinks President Obama doesn't want to pass immigration reform but to have it not pass and to have an issue to hammer the GOP with.
Cruz said he's glad Representative Paul Ryan's budget includes defuning Obamacare and is introducing an amendment to stimulate growth, including the implementation of Obamacare. He said the risk is that President Obama could shut down the government in response.
Cruz said the economic recovery is overstated as there are many people not included in the unemployment figures and growth is flat.

i don't understand it
