Laura Ingraham hosted Rep. Tim Griffin of Arkansas' 2nd District.
Griffin said law enforcement says there are numerous free cellphones in one home. He said the Obama free cellphone program has ballooned to $56 million and that the program is full of fraud and abuse. Ingraham stated that people are getting lots of free stuff for not working. Griffin said that it will stop when we have a debt crisis which we are reeling toward.
Griffin said people are being enabled by politicians saying we aren't near a European style debt crisis - and thinks its here. Ingraham said conservatives have to spell this out bluntly. Both agreed the free cellphone program is emblematic of all the waste that is going on the taxpayers dime. Griffin said this benefits rich people such as Mexico's Carlos Slim and the other big cellphone companies.
Griffin said the GOP principles work fine and if a true conservative had run for president, this GOP autopsy report wouldn't be necessary. Ingraham said policy matters and that she questions if immigration reform will help the party. Griffin said there should be a middle ground, not a big giveaway to illegal immigrants.
