Laura Ingraham hosted Representative Steve Pearce.
Pearce said Hispanic voters are like all voters who distrust Republicans because they don't show up for Latinos. He immerses himself in the issues of his district and despite not favoring amnesty, he has been re-elected in his district. He said involvement in the Hispanic community must be continual.
Pearce said that we cannot repeat the problems that happened after the immigration reform during the Reagan years. Ingraham noted that most liberals won't acknowledge the flow of illegal immigrants is not being addressed and that there is violence and crime happening.
Pearce said we will know that the border is secure when the price of illegal drugs go up. He said he odesn't speak Spanish, but has a translator when he goes to their areas.
