Laura Ingraham hosted Michael McConnell.
McConnell said that one of the cases on same sex marriage should be sent down to lower courts because both parties don't have a legal issue in this case. He said private parties have no standing to handle this case and he thinks it could be sent back to the lower courts as it has bipartisan support to do this.
McConnell said that only nine states have approved same sex marriage and that this makes it more devisive for a whole nation to cope with. He said the states that have same sex marriage have worked through the details. He pointed to Roe v. Wade as a decision that was made before the public was ready for it and that it has remained devisive.
