President Obama, leader of the free world, made an intergalactic foreign policy gaffe in mixing "Star Wars" and "Star Trek" terms, setting off a global Twitter debate.
CBS Boston reports fans were quick to react to Obama's mix-up of sci-fi references and the term "Jedi mind meld" quickly went viral on Twitter. The term "Jedi mind trick" is from "Star Wars," while "Vulcan mind meld" is from "Star Trek."
