His latest offense? Washing the face of two women in his Holy Thursday service at a youth offender lock up.
Why does acting like Christ go against Church tradition? Do these people remember the gender of the persons who stayed with him throughout his publiv life, including his Passion and Crucifixion? Why do they insult his Blessed Mother?
Laura Ingraham hosted Dean Timothy George of Samford University and Father Gerry Murray of NYC.
George said today is Good Friday because of the goodness of Christ's life and resurrection. George said there is a great hunger for spirituality and it's an opporunity for Christianity. He agreed that there are big attacks on religious freedom akin to the early days of Christianity. He said this is an opportunity for all faith groups to stand together against the forces of secularism.
Murray agreed that the coverage of the papal conclave showed people's interest in the church, despite the decline in Catholic Church participation and blamed it on ignorance. He agreed with Ingraham that Christianity is under duress due to attacks on values and religious freedom. He commented on the popularity of "The Bible" miniseries and that religious groups need to work together.
Boyle said Breitbart reporting on the Obama daughters vacation endangering them is false. Ingraham commented on how the Obamas invoke their daughters continually when it serves their interests. Boyle said the White House is desperate to attack Breitbart because it is questionable to have the Secret Service accompany the Obamas rather than allocating Secret Service resources to keep the White House open for tours shut down due to the sequester. Ingraham reported that 25 agents went with Malia to Mexico and asked which adult is with them and Boyle said the Secret Service is chaperoning them.
Boyle said Judicial Watch has filed FOIA request to find out how much this latest trip cost.
Why doesn't he step down - guess it's not that big a deal.
"We just would look at the board and say, ‘We already have too many white men. We can’t have more.’ Really, that was it,” Hayes said to Ann Friedman. “Always, constantly just counting, Monitoring the diversity of the guests along gender lines, and along race and ethnicity lines.”
An Iran armed forces commander would like to give Michelle Obama an award for proving the Oscars are "political" - for her presentation of the Academy Award to "Argo".
Commander Yaghoub Soleimani, a senior member of the Rahian Noor Camp -- said to be affiliated with Iran’s armed forces -- said on March 28 that the decision by the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences to have Mrs. Obama award the Best Picture Oscar to the “anti-Iranian” film, “Argo,” prompted some "supporters of the Islamic revolution" to organize an “international congress” to give her an award.
He was quoted as saying that the First Lady deserves her own award for proving, albeit inadvertently, that the awards for such movies are based on political, not artistic, criteria.
It seems the US thinks he's a bigger threat than administration rhetoric would indicate, downplaying the threat with words and amping up with weaponry.
North Korea's leader responded Friday to America's use of nuclear-capable B-2 bombers in joint South Korean military drills with more angry rhetoric, saying his rocket forces are ready "to settle accounts with the U.S."
Farris, a constitutional lawyer, said the "In Bloom" database funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation contains subjective, personal information about children and tracks them from preschool to college. Social Security, test results and comprehensive data is being accumulated. This is in contrast to evaluating systems which information was gleaned for.
Farris said the data is designed to match a student up to predesigned objectives and if a child has learning gaps, the child is red flagged.
Stirewalt said that while attitudes toward same sex marriage have shifted, this shift has been overstated. He pointed to 29 states that have voted against same sex marriage. He said California could have put this on the ballot, but preferred to use the courts instead. Ingraham said 'the tide of history" can be a rhetorical baton.
Stirewalt said perception becomes reality because people don't want to be in the minority. Ingraham compared this effort to the immigration push where the GOP has been told that Latinos are socially conservative which hasn't broken out. He said that minority communities tend to oppose same sex marriage. He noted that the real divisions of social issues are among the Democrats.
