Laura Ingraham hosted Andrew McCarthy.
McCarthy said the trial of Osama bin Laden's son-in-law hasn't caused an outcry, but that it should and that he's been floating under the radar. He said he's against trying terrorists in the US because intelligence files are turned over to people who are at war with us and because they get all the rights of citizens. He said the Obama administration kills terrorists rather than capturing them for intelligence.
McCarthy said he disagrees with Rand Paul by saying the Authorization of Military Force should be updated by Congress rather than taking away the president's powers during certain danterous conflicts. Ingraham countered that there are people who are concerned about a chief executive having too much power over citizens.
