Laura Ingraham appeared on "Fox and Friends" on February 5th.
Ingraham said that President Obama speaking for gun owners is akin to her speaking for community organizers. She said the sheriffs coming out for gun restrictions are being used as props and that there are more against it. She said the Republicans need to have their own principles apart from or in addition to the NRA's stances.
Ingraham noted that background checks will be of little value as the criminals or mentally unstable won't comply. She commented on her conversation with Rick Santorum on Senator Marco Rubio in which Santorum warned about buying into Democrats on this issue and to be wary.
