Laura Ingraham hosted Larry Kudlow of CNBC.
Kudlow said we are in a 2% economy. He said higher gas prices could hurt, but that the payroll tax increase was factored in and didn't affect the economy as much as thought. He thinks there will be a big bump in gas prices. He also feels confidence would be helped with the sequester as overspending would be curbed. He thinks the warnings about bad effects from the sequester are nonsense.
Kudlow said there is only one way out of this economic funk is more growth which neither party is doing enough to promote.
