Laura Ingraham hosted James Lipton of "Inside the Actors Studio".
Lipton said he will be blogging on AOL for the Oscars. He enjoyed "Lincoln" and thought it was brilliantly directed and thought Spielberg was emphasizing Lincoln was an idealistic politician. He deemed Daniel Day-Lewis as outstanding in the part and that he will be the definitive portrayer of Lincoln. He praised Hugh Jackman as an all round performer and Bradley Cooper as his ex-student who shone in "Silver Linings Playbook".
Lipton said the real Canadians who were portrayed in "Argo" will be at his Oscar party. Lipton said there were elements of the film weren't true and Ingraham pointed out that there were discrepencies in "Lincoln". Lipton said Jennifer Lawrence is a lock for best actress. He said Christopher Waltz will get best supporting actor and Anne Hathaway will be best supporting actress. He was most impressed with "Les Miserables" as a production. He said there is real competition this year and he won't be unhappy if serveral different movies got awards.
