The "Ingraham Angle" with Laura Ingraham on "The O'Reilly Factor" centered on the confirmation hearings for CIA Director John Brennan and outgoing Defense Secretary Leon Panetta testifying on the Benghazi scandal.
Ingraham said she was surprised that Joint Chiefs Chair Martin Dempsey and Secretary Panetta seemed to pass the buck and was foggy on the details around Benghazi. O'Reilly said the State Department didn't protect the consulate andthat Ambassador Stevens was walking into a dangerous situation. Ingraham said the authorities should have known the dangers.
Ingraham quoted General Stanley McChrystal who said drone strikes increase resentment due to the collateral damage. She pointed to the irony of President Obama being responsible for the huge increase in the program after his posturing about torture during the Bush presidency while he is increasing the murders of suspects and civilians, including Americans.
