Laura Ingraham hosted Brent Bozell of the Media Research Center.
Bozell said it is remarkable that moderates claim to be followers of Ronald Reagan and stated that Karl Rove and Steve Law should retire based on their track record. He said it's not a fight on the right, but a fight in the GOP. He said Rove and Law aren't true conservatives and that they are trying to control matters. He ticked off a list of candidates who ran in 2012 and noted the conservatives in the main won while spending a pile of money on campaigns. He claimed that this is the Bush wing of the GOP which has a failing record. He said the Congress walked away from the Tea Party.
Ingraham pointed out the reality that there isn't a bedrock of Tea Party support to effect policies and legislation. Bozelle disagreed and said the policies must come first.
Both Ingraham and Bozell agreed that President Obama is helping the pro gun advocates and that his efforts are backfiring to a degree.
